Rascals...

Peace and quiet. The children happily playing by themselves. Suddenly, Dan exclaims "Dad, Hannah is piling on me". I turn around to see them in a fit of giggles and run to get the camera

We know how to have great fun in the sand!!

Easter Weekend

It's been a long weekend in daylight hours... Sarah was singing the song 'Everlasting Day, It has no end and no beginning...' Hannah and Daniel are enjoying waking up in the night several times now, for various reasons... oh joy! Anyway, spent Friday afternoon down at the docks, looking for the ice cream van with the Waller family. Dan and his four friends scooting into the sunset. He's really getting into it now.
Saturday, was spent at Chew Valley Lakes with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jez, Auntie Ronni, (Great ;)) Uncle Trev, and (Great;)) Auntie Rachel. Nice and chilled as well as being ordered around one by one to play frisbee, football and badminton with Dan. Sunday morning was celebrating that 'Jesus is Risen'! and then seeing Gran and Lump (Sarah's dad... long story) in the afternoon. Monday - we were zombies in the morning but went to the park in the afternoon with Gran and Lump. Stew has the rest of the week off church stuff so we'll see what happens but needs to include cutting the bush on his head, Daniel's bush on his head.

Palm Sunday!

During our church service at Ebe, yesterday morning, we had an inspiring children's spot item from our multi-talented year teamers. They picked 5 children as volunteers to come up the front and suddenly there were 6! Daniel had arrived too! But they carried on with a short quiz about Palm Sunday with some simple questions. Daniel's question was 'What did Jesus ride on when he came into Jerusalem?' Everyone anticipating the answer to be 'a donkey'. Daniel's smiling parents were at the back, trying to amuse Hannah by walking up and down with her. There was a pauseeeeeeeeee! And Daniel gave his well thought through reply with great clarity - A SCOOTER! It was hilarious. Daniel was deadly serious but chuffed that he made everyone laugh. Mum and Dad were laughing! It was another great moment. Best spend a bit more time on that particular part of the Easter story!
