Happy Christmas!!

Hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas! We have spent the day in Bristol and went to lunch with Sarah's parents. Been a really nice day and Dan has had loads of presents, enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and playing with his new toys. (Few 'Its a bit too much' moments in there as well but to be expected). If you have time off, enjoy with family and friends.

Gig and socialising!

It's been a bit of socialising week in the North house. Sunday night, Stew enjoyed going to see local Bristol band 'Transition' at the Academy as they headlined it. They have played a lots of Globe Cafe and BISC events and been great to hear them grow. Then on Wednesday night, it was Delirious at the Academy who were fantastic... new album is brilliant and annointed! Great night out. Then today, Sarah enjoyed Christmas lunch with OMF people after working the morning and managed to consume a three course lunch. Then tonight, we enjoyed spending time with our homegroup from church with a nice buffet and all kids running around crazily! Dan had a fab time and finally fell asleep at 9pm at home. Busy 10 days ahead with Christmas services at Ebe.

Royal handshake!!

Today, Royalty came to Horfield - not my mum in her dreams, but Princess Anne. The day started funnily, when I dressed up smarter than usual (ie not jeans and trainers) and Dan came up to me and said in an innocent voice - 'Daddy, what are those?' and he pointed at my shoes - obviously he has rarely seen me wear shoes! It was a comedy moment! Anyway, Princess Anne was visiting projects in Upper Horfield and I was invited to Upper Horfield Community Trust to represent Ebe and yes, I did meet her and had a 20 sec chat! It was good opportunity to catch up with other people in the community. Spoke to my mum because I knew she would excited by the whole thing, far more than I was and the only thing that my mum could ask me was 'Did I wash my hands?' Bless!

Crazy weekend!

It's been a busy weekend in Bristol. Sarah and Dan went up to stay with Gran and Lump in Brummieland, in the attempt of us all having a break and possibly more sleep for a few days. Saturday night was BISC International Reception, which Stew helped host. It was an amazing night with nearly 600 students from 65 different countries, under one roof!! Then Sunday morning, Stew was speaking at Ebe on the final of three Vision Sundays. Looking forward to us all being together on Tuesday again.

Visit to Wellington

We have a lovely day in Wellington on Saturday, visiting Grandma, Grandpa and Great Nan. Dan had fun at the park, kicking the leaves, after an exciting time with the ducks and just before he made Grandpa play with him for agessssssss in the playground, on the slides!! Unfortunately at the moment, Dan still hasnt grasped the idea of sleeping all the way through the night and decided to wander around for 3hours in the middle of the night!!! bless! Mum and dad are complete zombies today!
