Well its been another year and here we are again celebrating the grand day 33 years ago when Irene gave birth to a baby boy that broke the mould. Little did she know about how she was inflicting the world with Stewart D North and his love for a dog!
Birthday started with traditional card opening with help from Daniel and Hannah (well actually Hannah ate the envelopes) followed by a full English Breakfast in bed - or did Stewart drift into a dreamworld! Actually, it was the usual morning chaos in the North house to get out of the door. A long morning meeting with some birthday treats of scones, etc. (warm and delicious). Then home for a quick lunch and then Stewart arrived at church to open his office door to find that there was someone there already.

Wrapped up and sat at the computer. It was obvious who it was because of the brown furry ear peeking out of the wrapping paper!

SCOOBY DOO!!!!!!!!
Stewart's excitement would be described as a 'sad man' by many but there you go. So working in the tidy office this afternoon was difficult, due to the distraction of a massive dog in the room! What a wonderful gift by some good friends!

Anyway, Stewart returned home to find more scooby doo balloons on his front door and then walked inside to find the party was ready to begin. First, there was pass the parcel, which Daniel 'surprisingly' won! Hannah ate the paper and laughed! Then Sarah came up with the inspirational idea of musical bumps and quickly volunteered to operate the music with Hannah. Daniel and Stewart enjoyed jumping and throwing themselves around and calling it 'dancing'! Then confusion came, when they decided to play musical statues and forgetting which game they were playing.

Then came teatime and we enjoyed a lovely birthday cake. Yet again, Sarah managed to avoid the camera.

Finally, we started to chill out on the sofa and then bedtime. Stewart and Sarah enjoyed a lovely meal out and then chilling at home with our fab babysitters and consuming choc pudding!
